This special day is important to us because we love to be involved with interdisciplinary collaborations through our Interdisciplinary Research Grant and share our engagement with the community through our research and many projects.

We are proud to help support the Hungry Heartland Project, which focuses on investigating and voicing food accessibility issues of Kansans in both rural and urban settings known as “food deserts.”
